# Motto Candidates

We don't have to have a motto. But if we want one, here's a (Latin) candidate:

Mathematica, quaerere numeralis speciminibus, liberat. - "Mathematics, to search for numerical patterns, liberates."

Other candidates?

If you want me to translate your English candidate into Latin, I'd love to try it out, though I can't promise fantastic fidelity.

Here's one that a professor friend of mine once said: "mathematics are beautiful when one thinks and not when you just know an algorithm, otherwise it would be too easy to study it."

Here's one I like " Its not that one can't understand but that one doesn't even question."

Of course there's never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down. Never gonna run around and hurt you

Although I'm not sure if copyright law will allow the use of that
