In summary, a "Journal for semi-crackpots" is a scientific journal that publishes articles on unconventional or controversial theories and ideas. Anyone can submit their work, but it goes through a rigorous peer-review process. The reliability of articles can vary, and mainstream scientists may not consider it a credible source. However, as long as proper protocols are followed, it can be considered a legitimate platform for scientific discourse.

I'm looking for a journal that will publish semi-crack pot physics theories.
Not talking Josephson crackpot level.
Something that will consider Ab-initio approaches on ambitious problems where the big hitters of the field are focused using another technique.

Something reputable but it doesn't need a large audience.

The same journals that publish crackpot theories will publish "semi-crackpot" theories. There are no reputable journals that publish "semi-crackpot" theories. Crackpottery is crackpottery.
