I'm guessing there are some proffesionals here and wasn't sure where else to ask. There may not be a correct answer. If I'm responding to a job posting and the posting has "Ref-Code: CA-55291679-EN-12-002" where should I site it? I'm guessing it should go imidiatly bellow or above the subject line, for example

Ref-Code: CA-55291679-EN-12-002
Subject: xyz...

Dear Human Resources:
-OR-

Subject: xyz...
Ref-Code: CA-55291679-EN-12-002

Dear Human Resources:

Or does it replace the subject all together?

I would put it at the end of the subject line:
