Hello,

My current approach is obviously not working very well so I would like to hear from others who have done well in their classes.

I do not feel that I will benefit much from the reading because I find it a bit confusing. Consequently, I do not read the text very much, but I develop the intuition by going to lectures, and I do nearly every single practice problem in the book. That's pretty much it. I practice often and do not cram, and I do lots and lots of practice problems.

I'm not doing poorly, but I want to do exceptionally well to get an A. Would very much appreciate advice. Thanks!

One strategy that I recommend is to take the time to develop a good understanding of the material. Reading through the text and taking notes can help you understand the concepts better. Additionally, breaking down the practice problems into smaller steps can help you better understand them. Once you have a good base of knowledge, you can practice more efficiently. Finally, make sure you are fully utilizing your resources such as office hours with professors, tutoring services, online study groups, and other study materials. With this comprehensive approach, you should be able to achieve the grade you want.
