The patriotic fervor of the US citizen following 9/11 was enormous. Many wondered whether this would be sustained. Apparently it has, not in the sense of displaying our national flag although many still do, but by volunteering for community services. Since President Bush asked his fellow citizens to help the less fortunate, the response has been overwhelming. Fully 68% of US citizens now volunteer their services in some way.

The patriotic fervor that swept through the United States following 9/11 was truly remarkable. It was a time of great unity and solidarity, as people came together to support one another and their country in the face of tragedy. While some may have questioned whether this sense of patriotism would last, it is heartening to see that it has, in a different form.

Rather than just displaying flags or other symbols of patriotism, the majority of US citizens have channeled their fervor into action by volunteering for community services. This response to President Bush's call for help has been overwhelming, with 68% of citizens now giving their time and efforts to support those in need.

This is a true testament to the strength and resilience of the American people. In times of crisis, we come together and work towards a common goal, whether it be supporting our country or helping those in need. This patriotic fervor has not only sustained, but it has also transformed into a tangible force for good in our communities.

As we continue to face challenges and hardships, let us remember the spirit of unity and service that was born out of 9/11. Let us continue to support one another and our country, and let our actions be a reflection of our unwavering patriotism.
