Most metals show ohmic behaviour below about 1000C, raise the temperature and the behaviour is non - ohmic. Traditional filament light bulbs show non - ohmic behaviour, the resistance increases as the filament heats up at switch on.

The conductor can be the output of a transistor. Without base current, the conductor will be ohmic.
Close the switch and it will be non-ohmic.
Or, if the conductor is the armature of an electric motor, and the shaft is prevented from turning, it will be ohmic.
Release the shaft and it will be reactive.
