How to find center of gavity of 2 wheeler

In summary, the conversation is asking for the procedure to calculate the center of gravity (CG) for a two-wheeler bike weighing 116 kg, as well as the CG for a rider (70 kg) and a passenger (80 kg). The speaker suggests looking up formulas on Wikipedia for this information and mentions the possibility of needing approximations or determining it experimentally.

You can find formulas at Wikipedia, for example, and I am sure they would have been easy to find for you as well. If you have specific questions about those formulas, feel free to ask.
In a real setup, you might need some approximations, or just determine it experimentally.

Related to How to find center of gavity of 2 wheeler

1. How is the center of gravity of a 2 wheeler determined?

The center of gravity of a 2 wheeler is determined by finding the point where the weight of the motorcycle or bicycle is equally distributed on all sides. This can be done by using a plumb line or by balancing the vehicle on two points and finding the intersection of those points.

2. Why is it important to know the center of gravity of a 2 wheeler?

Knowing the center of gravity of a 2 wheeler is important for maintaining balance and stability while riding. It also affects the handling and maneuverability of the vehicle.

3. What factors affect the center of gravity of a 2 wheeler?

The weight distribution of the vehicle, the position of the rider, and the design of the frame and tires can all affect the center of gravity of a 2 wheeler. Modifications such as adding luggage or changing the position of the handlebars can also alter the center of gravity.

4. Can the center of gravity of a 2 wheeler be adjusted?

Yes, the center of gravity of a 2 wheeler can be adjusted by changing the weight distribution of the vehicle or making modifications to the design. However, it is important to carefully consider any changes as they can affect the stability and handling of the vehicle.

5. How does the center of gravity of a 2 wheeler affect cornering?

The center of gravity of a 2 wheeler plays a crucial role in cornering. If the center of gravity is too high, it can cause the vehicle to feel unstable and increase the risk of tipping over. A lower center of gravity can help improve stability and control while cornering.
