I am familiar with the important role that Honeysuckle Creek played in receiving the first images from the Apollo mission and the Viking probes/landers on Mars. The staff at Honeysuckle Creek were instrumental in capturing and transmitting these historic images to the world. It is truly remarkable to think that these images were received and transmitted from a tracking station in Australia.

I am also aware of the upcoming 35th reunion of Honeysuckle Creek personnel involved with the Apollo landings. It is amazing to see the dedication and passion that these individuals still have for their work and the impact it had on the world.

I would highly encourage anyone interested in attending the reunion to get in touch with John Saxon. It would be a great opportunity to meet and hear from the people who were directly involved in such a significant moment in history. I hope to be able to attend the reunion and meet some of the amazing individuals who made it possible for us to see the first images of men walking on the moon and the surface of Mars.
