Is it possible to get into an American medschool like Harvard after completing MBBS from a reputed college in India? I heard from my friends that I need to be rich enough to study in foreign countries.Won't I get any scholarship at all?

Probably not. It's extremely rare even for American students to get scholarships to med school.

Med school costs hundreds of thousands of dollars quite often in the US. Most of the time, the students take out student loans to pay for it, and I don't know how possible that is for a foreign student (this is just what I've learned from talking to people who have been to med school).

It costs a lot, but the idea is that most doctors will be able to pay off their debt after a few years of working with a doctor's salary.

One of the websites I found tells that high SAT scores and academic performance will help in getting financial aid from US universities
Plus,A girl from India got into Harvard just by getting a perfect SAT,TOEFl scores
and with full scholarship.
Looks like getting scholarship is possible.

First, that's undergrad, not medical school.
Second, why did you post your question if you were going to argue with answers you didn't like.

Than what happens to people who apply as undergraduates is totally irrelevant to your situation. You need to take axmls' message to heart.

MBBS? That means undergraduate in medicine right? well doctors do study later, so why not? I don't see why it would not be possible after doing your first degree. I believe doctors specialise through further education (after bachelors) so why not?

This is not relevant.

SAT is for undergrad..you've already done yours. You should really research more instead of posting such silly things, your english is pretty confusing too.
No scholarship isn't possible, it really isn't. Students take 100s of thousands of dollars in debt, American students.

Also, you posted previously
(i can link the thread as i read it) that you were a student in high school, now you have finished your undergrad? which is it? One needs a bachelor degree to study medicine in the US (the medicine as a first degree, not the later specialisations)
