An electric oven is heated using electricity from a 110 V power line. The power line is connected to a resistance heater in the oven, and the current through the heater is found to be 1.0 A. Assuming the heater is 100% efficient in converting electrical power into thermal power, what is the thermal power produced by the thermal element?

$P=I \cdot E = \left(1 \, \dfrac{C}{s}\right) \cdot \left(110 \, \dfrac{J}{C}\right) = 110 \, \dfrac{J}{s} = 110 \, W$
