Electric Machinery Fundamentals by Stephen Chapman

In summary, "Electric Machinery Fundamentals" by Stephen Chapman is a popular and accessible textbook that covers important topics in the field. The fifth edition includes the use of MATLAB in examples and problems, and retains the targeted and thought-provoking problems from previous editions. It covers topics such as transformers, AC and DC machinery, and motors. The only criticism is the lack of answers to chapter questions.

This book is informative. Only downfall is the lack of answers to questions following each chapter. I have yet to find a book that is similar in nature with answers.
