In summary, vBulletin doesn't have a feature where you can only add content to posts after they've been replied to, but you are allowed a 'grace period' of 30 minutes after you originally posted to edit your post.

In all honesty, I've never seen anyone 'debate' anything in any engineering section. So, to have any edit limit at all just seems inappropriate. It's simply a techincal question with a technical answer. There really isn't much people can 'argue' about in that section and flip-flop their view.

All I want to do is fix some equations in the tex. But I don't want to have to add more and more posts and pm mentors just to fix something as simple as an equation every time I have to fix a post, or reword something to make it clearer.
