Can we entangle particles to make wormholes our own size?

In summary, it is theoretically possible to entangle particles and create a wormhole, allowing for matter and information to travel between them. The size of the wormhole would depend on the number and type of particles used, and extensive research would be necessary before attempting to create and use them. While theoretically matter could travel through these wormholes, the practicality and safety are still unknown and further advancements would be needed. As for time travel, while it is a popular concept, there is currently no scientific evidence to support its possibility.

Is it possible to find a particle large enough when entangled can create a wormhole for humans?

Entanglement has nothing to do with hypothetical wormholes.
Elementary particles don't have a size, and the size of composite particles has nothing to do with either entanglement or wormholes.

The OP may be referring to some of the video lectures made by Leonard Susskind in which he talks about forming ER bridges between black holes. I'm not sure if this counts as a peer reviewed source or not but I believe this may be what he is referring to.

Cheers

Related to Can we entangle particles to make wormholes our own size?

1. Can particles be entangled to make wormholes?

Yes, it is theoretically possible to entangle particles in a way that creates a wormhole. These entangled particles would be connected by a quantum link, allowing information and even matter to travel between them.

2. How can we control the size of the wormhole?

The size of a wormhole created by entangled particles would depend on the number and type of particles used in the entanglement process. By manipulating these factors, scientists could potentially control the size of the resulting wormhole.

3. Is it safe to create and use these wormholes?

Currently, the technology to create and utilize wormholes does not exist. However, in theory, creating and using wormholes could have unpredictable and potentially dangerous consequences, so extensive research and caution would be necessary before attempting to do so.

4. How would we be able to travel through these wormholes?

Theoretically, matter could travel through the wormhole created by entangled particles by entering one end and exiting the other. However, the practicality and safety of this method are still unknown and would require further research and technological advancements.

5. Can we use this technology for time travel?

While the idea of using wormholes for time travel is a popular concept in science fiction, there is currently no scientific evidence to support this possibility. The use of wormholes for time travel would require complex and advanced technology that is currently beyond our capabilities.
