In summary, ex-Bell Labs physicist Jan Hendrik Shon's research papers were discredited by multiple sources and efforts are ongoing to remove them from the internet. He is no longer actively involved in the scientific community and his controversial work is better forgotten.

Hi Entropia,
The Beasley report was most recently updated on March 5, 2003 and I believe efforts are ongoing to purge Schon's fiction.

quote found in Google: "The journal Science retracted eight of Hendrik Schon's discredited
research papers on Thursday, but the information still lurks on the Internet. ..." NATURE discredited at least 7 of his papers.

This Master of the "twisted thought experiment" is better forgotten. Cheers, Jim
