what do you mean by " the volume displaced by the water " in the above. if you mean volume of water displaced by the stone- then its equal to volume of the stone as it is dipped in water.

So , specific volume = volume displaced / (25 / 9.81) or volume displaced / (20 / 9.81) ?

The specific weight (also known as the unit weight) is the weight per unit volume of a material
i think you are given the wt. of the material so divide by volume of the displaced water
