Welcome to Article 26 Backpack’s first newsletter!
Produced by the Article 26 Backpack team at the University of California, Davis, the Article 26 Quarterly Newsletter provides resources, news, and relevant information to Backpackers to support them in protecting their human right to education. This quarter, we have information regarding our newly created Ukrainian and Russian versions of Article 26 Backpack, as well as free language exam and academic credentialing resources.

Article 26 Backpack News
Article 26 Backpack is now available in Ukrainian and Russian, in addition to Arabic, English, Dari (Persian), French, and Spanish. The addition of these languages makes free, safe, and universal document, credential, and research preservation and sharing more accessible for those displaced by Russia's war against Ukraine. We encourage all those engaged in education, research, and human rights advocacy to use Backpack to make certain diplomas, transcripts, creative work, research, and analysis are preserved and available for use globally.

Free Langauge Examinations
If you need a language exam, ApplyProof is donating free TOEFL exams and Duolingo is donating free English exams to Backpackers. In order to use either of these services for language exams, please email us at backpack@ucdavis.edu.
Academic Credentialing Services

Education Credential Evaluators (ECE®) Aid is providing free credentialing services for Backpackers. These services compare academic and professional degrees earned in one country to academic and professional degrees earned in another. To use ECE® Aid’s credentialing service, please email us at backpack@ucdavis.edu.
