In summary, an aphrodisiac typically contains chemicals that stimulate hormones, such as cholesterine derivatives. However, the specific nature of these chemicals can vary and there are potentially hundreds of effective preparations. The main hormones involved are testosterone for males and estrogen for females. Some examples of hormones that can increase libido are PT-141 and sildenafil citrate, the active ingredient in Viagra.

It stimulates hormones, so based on somewhat cholesterine derivative. But this is very brief knowledge. The nature of chemicals can change as there may be theoretically hundreds of aphrodisiac-effective preparations, but it has to do with hormones anyway, especially testosterone for males, and estrogene for females.

Hi,

This case is hormon-controlled case as specified in the topic above. Here this website references a hormone

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PT-141

Also, a well known non-hormone drug "viagra", whose active material is sidenafil citrate (you can find this even in lots of spam mails :) )
