In summary, the news has announced that the salary for europarliamentary members will be standardized to €100,000, resulting in salary changes for different countries such as Italy, Spain, and Hungary. This decision has sparked questions about the fairness and comparison to the salaries of Soviet Union commissars. The number of people in the europarliamentary is unknown, but the overall goal seems to be equalizing salaries based on the mean salary.

I just watched the news: they are going to make the salary for europarementary people the same: ~€100,000..

This means for different countries:
Italy: from €130,000 to €100,000
Spain: from €36,000 to €100,000
Hungary: from €9,000 to €100,000

but.. HOW.. is that possible?!

Were not the commissars of the once Soviet Union equally well reimbursed?

Everyone who joins the europarlementary :) I don't know how many people are in there though..

But the salary thing should all equal out, it is my observation that they have taken the mean salary and standardized everything to that. The Dutch ones won't gain or loose, but can you imagine a salary raise from €9,000 to €100,000? whoo!
