It gives a better power output?? Efficiency i mean

Engineering Can i pursue pg in psychology after ug in engineering?

I will finish engineering. Are there any online platforms for such things? Because i am studying in a college which is very remotely located, and i don't think there will be anything around here.

Engineering Can i pursue pg in psychology after ug in engineering?

@symbolipoint That is my question precisely. I visited few university websites like V50 suggested, and they say they don't need psychology background in ug for masters in psychology. But then, as i already said, at this point i have too little exposure to decide if a decision to quit engineering...

Engineering Can i pursue pg in psychology after ug in engineering?

I said i wanted to do criminal or forensic psychology, because it interests me. I have been reading crime novels and stuff for the past 7 8 years and nothing has interested me more than them. But i cannot leave what i have and go into something else just because it fascinates me without proper...

    Relation between torque and rpm

@Dennis C I just have one more question. when we say power is the product of toque and rpm, do we mean the power supplied to the motor, or the power developed by that motor

Engineering Can i pursue pg in psychology after ug in engineering?

I don't want to waste the 2 years I've put into this, and honestly there is no one to guide me down that path, so it would be a gamble which I am willing to take without any knowledge

Engineering Can i pursue pg in psychology after ug in engineering?

I am in my 2nd year into engineering, and lately i have realized this is not my interest. I want to do forensic psychology or criminal psychology. I have searched the net enough and have not found a convincing answer as to whether i can do those courses after engineering, or do i need to do...

    Relation between torque and rpm

@Dennis C I dint see the question sorry I would be in the first gear when i go uphill..because i would get more push than i would get from starting at the second gear(im hoping the gear conventions are same all over the world, I am from india) But i don't know what effect changing gear has in...

    Relation between torque and rpm

@zanick , I got what you said about the acceleration rates. But i don't understand what you said about torque getting less but speed gets higher. How does that happen?

    Relation between torque and rpm

I did do physics, but i was not familiarized about how torque can be put into use in an actual way.

    Relation between torque and rpm

Ok, so i was reading about how a Geared DC motor can be connected to the frame of a car, or any vehicle kinda thing, and make it run. And they said how shifting gears would reduce the rpm of the motor, and thus increase the torque. Do they mean to say when a DC motor is connected to the frame of...

Is it practically possible to construct a closed system?

How can radiation be transmitted without a medium??

Is it practically possible to construct a closed system?

In practice, is a closed or isolated system possible? My friends keep saying No, but isn't a system inside say, a vacuum isolated? There is no outer atmosphere for transfer of energy to take place.
