First photograph of light as both a particle and wave

Hey, I think even after "showing each nerve of my brain", none of you quite understood my point. First of all Sir Bhobba, maths is my most favourite subject and I can sacrifice everything of my life to learn it whole. Even if I don't understand high level maths ( like tensors, spinors, etc...)...

First photograph of light as both a particle and wave

Sir bhobba, Thank you very much for your help in trying to make me understand about space. But I think none of you has understood the TRUE point of my question. According to Sir Bhobba, yes I of course agree that Euclidean geometry, minkowski,etc... have really defined the space to their...

First photograph of light as both a particle and wave

That's what i was trying to say, we hadn't defined exactly what space is ( relatively what I meant is matter, particles, etc. are more heavily defined than space in our physics. Defining space in rather elegant way [as sir gort tried in the above post] will help us to fine tune our present day...

First photograph of light as both a particle and wave

Okay...as most of you are saying that physics is just approximating the mathematical models towards reality and not actually describing the true nature of reality. As we are talking about '' true nature '' of reality now, my question is, have we(humans) defined what actually ''space'' is? ( here...

    Photonic vacuum and atomic stability

Thank you very much sir Simon. OK, after safely discarding my false hypothesis of electrons maintaining stationary States using photons, I still have one more doubt. When we illuminate an atom with visible light(or any other region of EM spectrum) we see spectral lines in absorption spectrum...

First photograph of light as both a particle and wave

Hi this pic looks cool, but I am still learning high school physics and very curious to learn. Can anyone elaborate the pic please? How is that pic taken? What are those bulges which looks like waves? How is this pic showing both particle as well as wave nature simultaneously? (Means how I can...

    Photonic vacuum and atomic stability

Hi friends, this is my third post of my curiosity. :woot: First of all a photonic vacuum (as defined by me) is a region of space where there doesn't exist any type of photons or EM radiations ( those too which are beyond the detection of our present tech... i.e. including each and every...

Normal force cancels out the force of gravity?

Hello guys, I had seen a lot of threads on gravity but they are closed now. I have a curiosity for asking this question. Instead of defining gravitational force in a rather complex way (like curved space time, etc..) can we define it simply through our observations? Like can we say that gravity...

Curiosity for existence of Anti- photons?

That's what I was asking. Can you tell me what will be those particles? Will those particles be neutral, charged or massless, etc. And basically what will govern the formation of a particular type of particle from the collision of photons? Does that means light created matter and antimatter...

Curiosity for existence of Anti- photons?

For your third reply sir, i meant can we make a certain region ( say a cubic metre) devoid of light by colliding light photons with their corresponding anti photons? ( just like how sound waves nullify each other when they approach out of phase!)

Curiosity for existence of Anti- photons?

Hello friends! I am a newbie here. I love quantum physics very much... especially the standard model of fundamental particles, QED, QCD, etc. I have an urge to create my own theory on space quanta (that's for another time...) but my main question is: Does anti-particle of a photon exist (i.e...
