    Oblique Shock Angle Calculation

The equation in my book is ridiculously long. They actually split it into 3 equations.

    Oblique Shock Angle Calculation

    Aero undergrad and Mech grad?

I can't tell you much as far as mechanical goes but it is very hard to find an aero/astro job right now unless you have experience, or live on the east or west coast. If you stick with aero get an intership or co-op. I graduated in dec '07 with a bs in astro from Purdue and I still can't find a...

Is the Red Dashed Shock Present at Freestream M=2?

At freestream M=2 will the red dashed shock exist? I know there is a shock wave on the bottom.

MATLAB Matlab Image Processing: Widening Intensity Range using Transfer Function

First I will admitt it has been a while since I have done image analysis with Matlab but what I think you are asking for is something like this. I'm not familiar with the double command so I'll just assume it is used correctly. Oh and don't use image as an imput and image is a command in matlab...

    Analytical Solution to Poisson's Equation

My experience with Fourier series is extremely limited and your hint doesn't mean anything to me.

    Analytical Solution to Poisson's Equation

I have the equation del^2 phi =1 for 2-d (x and y) with the boundary condition being 0 along all 4 edges. I've looked in all my math books and can't find how to solve this. If anyone could get me started I would appreciate it.

How to Solve an ODE with Constant Non-Homogeneous Term and Boundary Conditions?

Thank you so very much for the help. I first found the complementary solution then add it to the particular solution and I am now solving for the constants. It's all starting to come back to me. It's been a handful of years since I took diff eq.

How to Solve an ODE with Constant Non-Homogeneous Term and Boundary Conditions?

I can't seem to find anywhere how to find the exact solution to the equation when the non-homogeneous part is just 1 and not a function. I would very much appreciate it if anyone could give me some assistance. Also for the bounday counditions doesn't one of them need to be phi prime? Thanks.
