    Near-Death Experience: Investigating Theoretical Implications

No matter what anyone says, the stories of clinically dead people being able to see what's going on around them is a trip. And personally i believe most of these accounts.

    Japan radiation causing tornadoes?

So it's a resounding 'no' then. Ok, i was just curious. I know a lot of other factors play into weather patterns, but was curious if any radiation could be the spark that lights the fuse where the other factors are already present. Thanks guys.

    Japan radiation causing tornadoes?

    Thanks for the responses.

    Japan radiation causing tornadoes?

Is it possible? Sorry if it's a dumb question, but can radiation in the jet stream from Japan cause severe weather? Is that possible? I've been looking at weather radar a lot lately and I've never seen such activity on such a large scale, and it seems rather isolated in the jet stream area...

Sodium layer of atmosphere & holographic projection

Hi guys, I recently read some stuff about satellites in space being able to project 3D images on to the sodium layer of our atmosphere about 60 miles above the Earth. Is this possible? Can the sodium layer potentially be used as a giant movie screen for projections? The stuff i read was about...

What Would Happen if a Hurricane Hit the Gulf Oil Spill?

So waterspouts don't suck water up? What happens if waterspouts collide with hurricanes? I'm sorry but it really does seem like oil particles will be carried inland by hurricanes...but how many, and to what extent is anybodies guess.

Could a nuke ignite sub-surface methane?

^Yeah, i was just wondering if pockets of sea water containing oxygen could be under the surface and could ignite somehow. I'm not real keen on the physics of it all.

Could a nuke ignite sub-surface methane?

I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this question...if not could the mods move it please? If a nuke was used on the BP leak, would there be a chance that it could ignite the methane? I know there's lots of variables and factors but, if it was possible to ignite it, what's the chance...

What Would Happen if a Hurricane Hit the Gulf Oil Spill?

Really? Crazy! I thought they could suck water up into the air drafts.

What Would Happen if a Hurricane Hit the Gulf Oil Spill?

What would happen if a hurricane swept through the gulf over the area of the spill? How would the oil effect water temp., which contributes to hurricane strength? Would a hurricane pick-up and disperse the oil inland if it made land-fall?...or would a hurricane basically spread the oil out so...

Can EM Waves Vibrate Powders? Exploring Physical Effects

Hmmm, makes sense since light has mass... What about inaudible radio waves such as ULF, ELF, LF? Can they cause physical vibrations? Thanks.

Can EM Waves Vibrate Powders? Exploring Physical Effects

Can man-made EM waves produce physical vibrations of objects? Can man-made EM waves vibrate powders like sand or talc? I'm trying to understand if any types of electronic frequencies can cause physical vibrations...thanks.

    Induced seismicity and low frequencies

Yes, but weren't these EM signals naturally produced? They were the precursors of earthquake activity, but not the causes...correct? I know it's still a mysterious phenomenon how these EM fields seem to spike before seismic activity, but are these EM fields the cause? And if so, could these...

    Induced seismicity and low frequencies

Exactly...but can these types of vibrations be caused by electronic means?
