We know that in the Fourier transform formula ,there are mainly two terms function f(t) and complex exponential term ( function).
But I am confused that what should i call Fourier transform formula as a correlation or convolution formula? So can anybody help regarding it?
I am currently studying 4 years undergraduate course in Electronics Engineering. So I want to ask that what kind of jobs are available to me and which extra courses should I study as a plus point from recruitment point of view ?

Hello everyone, I am from India and studying Electronics Engineering. But i don't have much idea about career options available for an Electronics engineer.
So can anybody give me guideline about
What are career options for an Electronics Engineer?
What kind of jobs are available in the...
So my question is that is it possible to
detect a single vehicle and perform
tracking of it using Fourier transform ?
1. Should I 1st detect all the
vehicles and perform tracking of
single vehicle from it ?
or2. Is it possible to detect only one
vehicle and perform tracking from
it ?
I am working on a project which is based on importance of phase only reconstruction of a signal obtained from fft.
Now ,I have detected vehicles from the Video of Traffic on road taken using stationary camera ( Please download the 1.47 MB video for testing MATLAB Code by ( step1) click on the...
We know that Fourier series is used for periodic sinusoidal signals and Fourier transform is used for aperiodic sinusoidal signals.
But i want to know that
Is there any relation present between Fourier Series and Fourier transform ?
Also,Can we derive mathematical formula of Fourier...
Well,I am doing under graduation in 4
years Electronics and Telecommunication
Engineering .We have semester pattern
system (2 semesters in 1 year).In the 3rd
semester, We have subject named
"Signals and Systems" under which the
above topic is covered.
Most of the teachers or professors don't...
This is a soft question but I think it's a real fact. The Frequency domain has made revolution in the field of Mathematics,Physics,Digital Signal and image Processing etc. Some of concepts
which are very difficult to analyse in
spatial or time domain can be very easily understood in the frequency...
I am a beginner. The Fourier
series, Fourier Transform and it's
inverse play very important role in
Fourier Analysis and Fourier
Synthesis. I have read that Fourier
transform is localised in only
frequency domain.Also,it contains
information about the signal in
phase and frequency spectrum...
Suppose you are given a phase
spectrum or (/and) equation of the (main) signal only and you are said that the given (main) signal is
formed of 3 other signals.
Is it possible to compute phases of these three signals from the
equation or (/ and) phase
spectrum of the (main) signal?
Also,what...
I am fond of Fourier series &
Fourier transform. In Fourier
domain, we can come to know
what frequency components are
present and the contribution of
each component in forming the
given signal. But every approach has some
advantages and
disadvantages.Here, I want to
know what are the limitations/...
I am a beginer. I have read that any given signal whether it simple or complex one,can be represented as summation of orthogonal basis functions. Here, what the terms orthogonal and basis functions denote in case of signals? Can anyone explain concept with an example? Also, what are the physical...
