How Do You Calculate Electric Field and Force in a Charged Square?

Q the constant is in C, so would leave me with N. This helps me a lot, Thanks so much!

How Do You Calculate Electric Field and Force in a Charged Square?

So for 2. I should use Pythagorean - Sqrt(.02^2+.02^2)? Ok for vector addition, tip to tail for E. I believe SW would be right. But what do you mean about the charge in lower left? Am I not supposed to use E times Q the constant at 1.6*10^-19? Or am I wrong about Q?

How Do You Calculate Electric Field and Force in a Charged Square?

Homework Statement A square has a charge at each corner. The square is 2cm x 2cm. In the upper left corner there is 1μc, in the upper right corner there is 2μc, the lower right corner there is 3μc, and the lower left corner there is 4μc. A. What is the magnitude and direction of the...

Banked curve with friction, but no angle

I was wrong in that angle. I found the correct angle by assuming no friction, solving the y force for Fn and substituting it in the x force equation. This gave me theta. Then, after figuring out the x y-axis could be rotated to go with the Fn on the car, solved like any other incline plane...

Banked curve with friction, but no angle

Homework Statement A banked curve has been designed so that it is safest for a vehicle going 70 mph. The topography of the land restricts the radius of the road to 300m. Assume mu(static friction) is 0.80 and mu(kinetic friction) is 0.60. A 5512 lb vehicle travels with a speed of 60 mph on...
