That's all the info I have.
I guess the assumption is that the value for E would need to be defined using yield stress and yield strain to resolve, but is defined by a linear relationship.
Hi,
I have a problem, using the 2 different equations for calculating the Modulus of Resilience, I get 2 different answers. It seems simple, but I’m a little perplexed.
For the following values:
Yield Stress = 1880 MPa
Yield Strain = 0.0068
E = 401 GPa
[U(r) = (Yield Stress x Yield Strain) /...
Hello everybody, would somebody please put me on the right track to answering this question?
'Consider water undergoes a heat transfer
at constant pressure of 10 MPa and
changes from liquid to steam. Find the
entropy of the system (sfg) as well as the

Hi, I am modelling a DC motor using Simulink.
Under no-load conditions, I get a max speed of 180 rads/s, but under load, the speed goes up to 290 rad/s, although takes longer to reach max speed, acceleration decreases.
I have a mechanical background so don't know much about motors, but would...
Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Nick from Brighton,UK.
I am a lecturer at a further education college and am studying for an MSc in Auto Engineering.
