Virtual Image Location for Negative Lens System?

you mean this?: 1/f=1/U+1/V i used this for the lens 1, and found that V, image distance, is 12, which means it is located 6 to the negative's right, 2 after the focal point. So how can i use the equation for the second lens? U is supposed to be an object, not converging rays.
