Carnot Engines Question -- Composite Configuration Efficiency

Are there any other formulas i need for this. So far i am using W =Th-Tc and e = W/Qh After writing out the individual engines and calculating the work based on the previous i have: (Th-W1-Tc) /Th

Carnot Engines Question -- Composite Configuration Efficiency

I think since here we are dealing with carnot, can i say W = Th-Tc?

Carnot Engines Question -- Composite Configuration Efficiency

When i calculate the work for one engine, is it just the difference of Qh-Qc?

Carnot Engines Question -- Composite Configuration Efficiency

    So far i have Engine A (between TH and TM) a e = 1-TM/TH. For engine B (between TM and TC) , e =1-TC/TM

How Do Spring Length Calculations Relate to Frequency and Harmonics?

not long if you know what you are doing! I do get it now. I didn't recognize that was about harmonics.

How Do Spring Length Calculations Relate to Frequency and Harmonics?

So i have a question. In terms of difficulty, how difficult is this question for an exam?

How Do Spring Length Calculations Relate to Frequency and Harmonics?

Okay, 1.5 m? right. And it's because we know that consequtive harmonics help us find the n

How Do Spring Length Calculations Relate to Frequency and Harmonics?

    for 5th harmonic, wavelength = 2L/5 for 6th harmonic, wavelength = 2L/6 = 1L/3

Did i do this question completely wrong? (Statics-moment)

Ahh man. I did not do that. Uhgh. No wonder nothing matched up. I did all the steps that needed to be done like finding the equations for shear and bending moments. But it just did not match up with the actual problem. UGH

Did i do this question completely wrong? (Statics-moment)

For normal force A , i got like -474 kN . So basically i got the wrong support forces and so i used the wrong numbers.

How Do Spring Length Calculations Relate to Frequency and Harmonics?

I think the wavelength is 2L = lambda. for fundamental next harmonic is L = lambda

How Do Spring Length Calculations Relate to Frequency and Harmonics?

All i understand now is that the number of antinodes give a certain length. So for the consecutive frequencies, the antinodes are responsible for making the lengths equal
