Speed of Electrons: A Classic View

Why a full stop, i will ask otherwise. Why does the QM view of a electron and its nucleus not result in the radiation Maxwell predicted.

I am sorry what are you trying to say? there is a force acting on the electron right?

Speed of Electrons: A Classic View

oke thanks for your quick answer. could you say with equations you main? alritght then, what are the electrons then doing around the nucleus i understand that this is not a well defined question because of QM. But are the electron in QM not acceleration around the nucleus?

Speed of Electrons: A Classic View

I can understand that if, it would emitted radiation it would lose energy. However i can't quite grasp why it would emitted radiation. I read parts of your link and also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclotron_radiation from here. So 2 questions arose, first one: In my mind (i know this is not...

But if the components change, the components undergo a acceleration and or a deceleration right?

Speed of Electrons: A Classic View

I am sorry but i don't quite get that. I can understand why you could say a electron is accelerating in different directions. However why does this need to result in a decrease of its energy? So i think what i don't understand is why would a charged particle that is just moving a round a...

CO2 and the correlation with rising atmospheric temperatures

I just read the policy for this forum "Earth" so i hope my next question will be approved, it is with the best intentions. My friends and i where having a discussion about CO2 and the correlation with the raising temperature, we know that CO2 is a greenhouse gas. About that, CO2 is a greenhouse...

Speed of Electrons: A Classic View

i am not sure, why is that? You could reason that the electron, would haven only one force acting on it. This force would be described by coulombs law. However if the electron has a speed around a stable point, the nucleus. Then it will reach a equilibrium where it will circle the nucleus forever.

Speed of Electrons: A Classic View

Hello, this is my first forum question, so i hope it's at the right place. My question is about electrons, i know in a QM view electrons don't have a well defined position or speed. However i am curious, in a classic view of the electron would electrons closer to the nucleus move faster then...
