Is it possible to create a protest gas that sedates and lasts for a very long period but has a limit on its severity, no matter how long exposed? If so, may you please elaborate? This is for fiction I'm working on.
I was thinking of a pistol that shoots out a pellet with two needles that pierce the body to produce the same effect as a taser. Would it be possible and must there be two needles to make a circuit?
A protest control pistol that can easily be switched between two firing modes: shooting many pellets over a wide area and shooting just one. If so, how far in the future can this be a reality?
