Does anyone if that is enough? Would 2-3 classes in C++ really let you be able to work in C++?
I have taken 2 classes in python + many classes in physics that uses python.(+matlab course) I feel like I can't do anything in python except for course related stuff. How much programming knowledge...
But most employers know they aren't making a long-term commitment due the extremely large amount of job switching these days. It is very unlikely that entry level positions stays at that company for say 5 years or more. So employers are looking for you to be able to work asap, so it is...
I hear Queen's Engineering Physics is top 3 in the world. Anyways, first you should decide if you want to go into physics or engineering. Go into engineering if you can imagine your life not doing physics.
How to get programming experience as an recent physics graduate that's looking into the job market? I'm in Toronto. I had 1.0 credit of python and 0.5 credit of Matlab, + other courses that uses python. But that is not nearly enough experience.
Even if I self learn programming like...
Thanks, do you know what does this have to do with ring&fields (Abstract algebra)? I thought you had to use something special to solve it but apparently its just regular system of equations.
OK, so eq 2-eq1, then use that as eq 3. Solve eq1 and eq3 as a system, which got that answer. Is this process correct?
My class is a ring&field class. I don't see how this even related at all... No determinate needed to solve this?
Basiclly this, http://math.stackexchange.com/questions/261945/finding-intersections-of-two-quadrics.
But I don't know how he got " So I just tried taking the difference of the two quadrics (which is essentially the case of k=−1) and solved directly as so and got {(4,2),(−4,−2),(3,3),(−3,−3)}...
Homework Statement
Find all the plane (x,y) all points of intersection of two quadric:
2x^2-xy+3y^2=36,
3x^2-4xy+5y^2=36
Homework Equations
The Attempt at a Solution
I want to know the general process to solve something like this. Is the problem solved by using det...
I have a habit of playing with things while studying. Keeping hands active helps me think. Mostly spinning pens and stuff. Some people have yo-yo.
Anyone else have the same habit? Any recommended things to keep hands busy?
That's weird. I'm in UofT and there are vending machines that sell bottled water in the physics building. Which library do you go to?
I never had any problems anywhere in Toronto regarding drinking water.
Any good GRE tips? As in general GRE and not pgre. I'm planning on spending sometime preparing for it since my writing sucks. I want to buy one or two books on general GRE, can someone do a review of the popular gre books? I see mixed review for every book.
The Chinese government are wussies I don't know why anyone would think "China keeps openly provoking". It seems more like a prank than government provoking.
