    Impedance and Frequency- directly or indirectly related?

    Impedance and Frequency- directly or indirectly related? I think it's inversely. Am I correct? Let Impedance =Z p==pressure v=velocity Z = p/v and v=f(lamda) So Z= p / (f(lamda)) Isn't Impedance inversely proportional to frequency?

    INTRO TO PHYSICS: Impedence, pitch, vibration, reasonance

    EASY STUFF: Impedence, pitch, vibration, reasonance... Please Help! I would really appreciate it if you guys could take a look at these problems I have difficulty with. Thanks a lot. My answers are in red. 1. As impedance decreases, frequency decreases? 2. For the vibration spectrum (of...

    PHYSICS OF MUSIC: Pitch is organ pipes & vibration spectrum

    Hi. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me whether I'm correct or not. :smile: 1. An open pipe (open at both ends) and a closed pipe (closed at one end) are the same length. If an organ blows air across the top of each pipe, what is true of the frequency (and pitch) of the...

    Why is Refracted Angle > Incident Angle?

    I understand it matematically but Snell's law but is there another way to explain it?

    Why is Refracted Angle > Incident Angle?

    Why is it that the refracted angle > the incident when light moves from a more dense material to a less dense? Is there any way to explain why the angle would be greater? I know the velocity would increase. Wavelenght increases. Frequency remains the same. Correct?

    Is This Geometry Problem Solvable Using Variables?

    I had it on a math competition today and I couldn't think of anything. Express using variables. Any insights guys? http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/8684/math1wy.jpg
