    Stuck between Science and Engineering.

"That might be a tall order to fill, take the vehicle example. Most likely you'd be working with a team one part of a vehicle, not the whole thing." Depends on the scale of the project... could be a skateboard, could be a bicycle, or something with 4 wheels. Was thinking of starting a project...

    Stuck between Science and Engineering.

I am pretty sure I want to go into renewable and alternative energy sources, and try to improve or create vehicle designs(the entire vehicle), or something that people can use in their home for heating, electricity... The only thing I like about Mechatronics is that is more hands-on and is a...

    Stuck between Science and Engineering.

Nope, no plans yet for graduate school. But I am always looking at masters. The thing is I am not impressed by Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical... Engineering masters, but I do like some of the physics/Engineering Physics masters, like Earth and Atmospheric Physics; Interdisciplinary master...

    Stuck between Science and Engineering.

Ok I am now between Mechatronics and Engineering Physics. I also have a Electrotechnical Tehnician Diploma, and am thinking in getting Electromecanical Tehnician Diploma until I finish first semester of college, to refresh my memory, I don't know why but I am like 60% Mechatronics and 40%...

    Stuck between Science and Engineering.

Hello, I am thinking of going to college this year and I have 3-4 options(Physics with Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics)... First of all I like to have a lot different experiences, with different things, I do not want to pe specialized but more of a...

Is there a way to make learning physics in the digital age more engaging?

I think the only good solution is to find some good books that will keep me interested and/or do group study. Thx for all of the replys everyone.

Is there a way to make learning physics in the digital age more engaging?

Possibly, but if you are fascinated by the subject I doubt you will deviate from it. If your attention is drawn to other things then I doubt they are making it interesting enough to keep you focused on the subject

Is there a way to make learning physics in the digital age more engaging?

An option of learning physics when teachers can't make you understand, and taking into account that I learn best when visuals are involved. Ex: I have a book that fits the bill but for high school Physics 12 McGraw-Hill Ryerson, I do not have one similar for college.

Is there a way to make learning physics in the digital age more engaging?

I did say there is no replacement for a good teacher. I was talking about the way romanian teachers teach, and how the poor quality of life affects the way they teach. The example that I gave about a 60 year old teacher... was just a example not a generalization of all older teachers. I was...

Is there a way to make learning physics in the digital age more engaging?

Good thing I have a good collection of math, science and engineering books and am pretty good at finding what I want on the internet. That and probably group study. Edit: I do not have that much freedom on my courses. These are my Physics in English courses...

Is there a way to make learning physics in the digital age more engaging?

I like oldschool when the teacher is good at explaining and no technology will replace a good teacher. But if the teacher is bad I think other options should be available.

Is there a way to make learning physics in the digital age more engaging?

I do not want to be entertained, but why not make physics fun and easy to understand like how Emeritus Walter Lewin does. Here the quality of life is pretty poor and some of the teachers not all of them are not enthusiastic about teaching anymore, and that reflects on the student. It's all about...

Is there a way to make learning physics in the digital age more engaging?

I was referring to information in general. Every education system has a limit for how much you can learn, everything else like selfstudy, groupstudy, geting a tutor has nothing to do with the education system itself. I had a math tutor in high school that brought me from a D- student(was a D-...

Is there a way to make learning physics in the digital age more engaging?

Well I do not have a choice, no one takes you serious without a degree, and even if that didn't matter, it would be hard to learn physics by myself just from books and internet, and for tutor I don't have the money. Booring or not I will go to college and study physics, I only thought I could...
