Hey phys community.
need a little help, I am looking to calculate the energy needed to move an object from point A to point B on a conveyor belt. I need to know how to calculate this on a horizontal surface, incline, and decline. The abstract would be cool formulas would be cool. My math...
Hey everyone,
I am trying to figure out how to do this, but I don't know where to start, can I use pressure, electricity, graphite, and pure hydrogen, do i need to melt the graphite, or maybe just dissolve it. I could use a little help, I know it may be cheaper to just buy it, but that defeats...
Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to mathematically described a wave or a pulse, I do not actually know what to call it. I will try to describe it - a particle shown like a circle with a tsunami type wave going around the particle. Please help me define something like this mathematically.
If an election can tunnel through atomic structures, or move through atomic barriers even when they don't have enough energy, could it be possible to create fusion through tunneling, even without sufficient energy, sufficient relative to standard energy levels needed?
I am thinking that it...
Ok well right now this is all strictly theoretical, but then what exactly would i need to know to be able to calculate the amount of x ray radiation is coming off of a reaction?
Ok, sorry about being so vague, if i had a small scale fusion reactor in my garage, and I was using x amount of voltage, y amount of deuterium reacting, is there a way to calculate how much x ray radiation is being produced by the nuclear reaction?
Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to calculate how much energy is being released in a nuclear fusion reaction from x rays. I think it will have to do with how much deuterium is in the vacuum chamber, how many volts I am using and the amount of resistance of the mesh the electricity is...
When breaking down a molecule using electricity, what determines how much of the substance is broken down per second. Is it the voltage, current, or something else I'm not thinking of?
Ok, would there be any way to vaperise water in a container w/ a sudden burst of energy w/out disrupting the container? Maybe w/out a chemical explosive? So there is little expanding non water gasses, just the pure release of energy?
Hello,
I'm trying to figure out what would happen if you put an explosive into a container of water where the explosive released the same amount of energy it would take to vaporize the water in the container. What would happen to the container?
Thank you, I did find what you, streeters, posted about iter to be interesting, and what I was looking for was more of the qualitative nature, because I know I need to study math and all kinds of sciences. I guess I was looking for more of a narrower subject to start with than nuclear physics...
Hello,
I am a junior in high school, and for the past few years nuclear physics has caught my attention. Mainly Nuclear Fusion. I have done some reading on the subject and I have looked around but I am having some difficulties finding what exactly I should start with studying first. Nuclear...
