I have this nifty program pokit, which uploads screenshot to web in a second, keeping the picture small. So the original jpeg was around 2 MiB and this screenshot too around 200 KiB or so.
The plug isn't burnt, its from this industrial glue.
I traced the circuit and it didn't make any sense...
ok i found out that the brown stuff is industrial glue. So that's out of the picture.
The chattering is definately coming from relay.
I do not understand how is this relay connected to the capacitors and little transistors near. (There are 2 little transistors, not power ones(i think), that...
Hello,
I have this audio amplifier from Vivax AM 100.
But it has somewhat weird problem. When you turn it on it starts buzzing but, not like buzzing on speakers but rather circuit starts buzzing, rattling noise.
There is also like wax residue on the board, which i don't think its...
Well i figure if 24V AC is a effective value and the amplitude of the sine wave I am rectifying is 24\cdot \sqrt{2} then that comes to about 33.94 V sine wave amplitude. If i rectify that I should get enough voltage for DC.
So a fuse will do a trick? Ok, I am gone shoppin!
Hello people!
I've been absent from this forum for quite a while. But now I return with questions regarding a little project I have to do.
So basically I have to make a AC and DC power supply. I need 24 V AC output and 0-30 V DC power supply.
I have a transformer(I think its 220V/24V)...
Hello, a little update:
I did manage to get the switching between HP and LP filters(I think, I will confirm it tomorrow), but I have major troubles with accuracy.
Those 16-1 multiplexers are bringing in a constant 1.6k of resistance. Now with 16 resistors its not a problem, but capacitors...
Hamming codes are class of codes that have (2^{m}-1, 2^{m}-m-1,3) which means that they all correct one and only one error. I don't know about detection of those other two, I am not familiar with that. But the distance of 3 dictates that they can correct only one error.
Thank you!
Yes I do love more analog electronics than digital. This is actually my BSc final work. So it has to be precise to very last word!
I will keep this thread updated.
Thank you all, again!
Yes yes, precisely what i thought!
I will model the filter using resistor+capacitor in series.
But I had an idea!
Using relatively small capacitors, i can get relatively high impedances on capacitor, and then i can neglect the resistor to some extent, you agree?
Hmm its good to hear!
I will be using these multiplexers in combination 2-1 multiplexers to achieve this circuit:

I did the theory behind it, calculated cutoff frequency and from the theoretical part it looks promising. But I...
Hello PF!
I've been quite busy on my faculty, doing my academic final work.
Anyway I need somebodies expertise which involves analog multiplexers.
I am using MPC506
Datasheet
http://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/mpc506
I tested it and gives nice result at 5 MHz sine wave, which is more than good for...
There is a better thing called, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, your ADSL.
http://complextoreal.com/tutorials/tutorial-22-orthogonal-frequency-division-multiplex-ofdm-dmt/
Take a look at this. It explains in-depth the implementation of such division. The only difference between...
