    Praise Issues with LaTex

Thanks. Please don’t get worried about this issue. The physics problem I trying to solve is only for fun. Today I’m too busy. Eventually I’will get the way to get by when I had time. Simply e.g. I can write the post here, where the LaTex engine seems to work properly and copy-paste in the real...

    Praise Issues with LaTex

Ok. It seemed like it worked, but it really didn’t. I’ve been writing my equations until now, and it seemed to be right, but in the end I needed to write the problem statement at the beginning of the thread and… surprise… surprise… everything on my equations and writing fall apart, and I haven’t...

    Praise Issues with LaTex

I am using both Apple iPad with Safari and Win11 i9 x86 with Chrome. I prefer iPad due to it's easier to me write LaTex Code on it. But maybe it'll be better to use the Win11, that's not the question. I submit you two screenshots from the Win11 computer without and with the bottom links.

    Praise Issues with LaTex

Ok, I know some more information about this issue. In this forum section the LaTex engine works properly but in other forum sections don't. In this forum section it appears LaTex Guide | BBcode Guide, on the botton of the writting space, but in other forum sections do not appears. Any idea as to...

    Praise Issues with LaTex

Hello, can anyone give me a hand? I am trying to make a post but the LaTex engine doesn't work properly. I Try the `four dollars´ and the `four hashtag´ method on, but the equations dont appear when I click the Preview button. The LaTex engine doesn't do anything. I have posted several threads...

How to determine if the space ship is moving or stopped?

D is the correct option. Apart from the answers of the subject: Any stops acceleration will be observed by Tom as a gravitational field, and so, as Tom doesn't known anything about the exterior of the space ship, he won't be able to know if the spaceship is slowing down, whatever he does.

B Exploring Olbers' Paradox in Matt Roots' Introduction to Cosmology

Ok. it is understood. Also just after your answer I was thinking that the energy that we receive from a star a distance r, must be spreaded in a sphere of radius r. Ok thanks a lot!:oldsmile: Thread solved.

B Exploring Olbers' Paradox in Matt Roots' Introduction to Cosmology

I'm beginning to study the Matt Roots book Introduction to Cosmology and in the section 1.3 Olbers' Paradox he writes: "If the surface area of an average star is A, then its brightness is B=L/A. The sun may be taken to be such an average star, mainly because we know it so well. The number of...

    Kinematics: find maximum height

After you have calculated the velocity at t=4s, I think is better calculate the height using energy with the Newton's formula: ##U=-G\frac{M·m}{R}## , (##m## cancels in the calculation), because we don't know if with these velocity g is a constant during all the trajectory. Also for the go...

The speed of a metal wire on two rails with a magnetic field

I says about the direction o velocity because the diagram, if the bar moves to the right it will crashes whit the generator. Ok. if the supports wires are so long this is not important. knowone needs to calculate ##\varepsilon_{inducc}## that is related with ##v## (when he applies Faraday's...

The speed of a metal wire on two rails with a magnetic field

Perhaps this thread is similar to (b) and (c) questions in your problem: https://www.physicsforums.com/threa...-inside-a-magnetic-field.952728/#post-6036839 In your problem (questions (b) anc (c)) there are a force due the constant potential ##\varepsilon##. In the above link the force is due to...

Should I Correct My Professor's Math in an Introductory Physics Course?

Ah! the education. I remember a conversation whit a friend some years ago, about the method for solve certain complicated problem, and then he told me: "Alejandro, every person does as he/she can"

Flux of a vector and parametric equation

Yes, visualizing the field in the space there are a symetry in the plane XZ, then like the volume has also spherical symetry around the point (0,0,0) we don't need to calculate anything. So is more fun! :woot::woot:

Xsnac I've been making the transformation right now and seems me that your work is ok.
