Physics student in NUIGalway in Ireland. Picked this course because I knew I wanted to have a career in physics but not entirely sure in what area. This course offers a study in astrophysics, biomedical physics, theoretical physics and applied physics. You then focus on one of the four areas as you progress through the four years. I intend to focus on applied physics (as i am interested in the study of electricity, electronics, lasers, robotics, nuclear power, mechanics, particle physics etc.) and hope to do a masters and phd afterwards in some related area.
