3. Dr Keister,
I have a question about the Chapter 9 test. On problem 16.) -12r^2+5r+3 I've got 8 and 3 ( You subtract 8-3 and you get 5)
-12(r+8)(r+3) but.. when checked this is what I get r^2+11r+24 then when I multiply by -12 it equals (-12r^2-132-288)

5. Aww...thank you for your kind words, Ackbach!
6. Hi Ackbach,
I was just wondering, is it ok to post a thread about my questionnaire for research for my sixth form project? The post would just be a link to the questionnaire page with a short description on what it is. It's maths related, more specifically history of maths, and my target group are under and postgrads in maths. I know some maths forums only want posts relating to maths problems and get annoyed if you post anything else, so I just wanted to know if this is ok and if it is then which sub-forum I should post it under.
Thanks,
Pascal
7. thank you. Are you the one that helps me understand my question?
8. Thanks~

Will do.
10. Happy Birthday, Adrian!!! I hope you are having a wonderful day with friends and family. Thank you for all that you do here.
