    Hello MHB Community,

We have made a change in the way threads are marked as solved, and that is we removed the large button to the immediate right of the "+ Reply to Thread" button, and added a menu item to the top of the "Thread Tools" menu:

If you have marked a thread as [SOLVED], and then later discover you have changed your mind, then you may revert the prefix from the same location:

If you have any question or comments, please feel free to post in this thread.

Unfortunately, I didn't like it. Previous thing was better. Earlier, the option to mark thread as solved or unsolved was to the immediate right of the option to post a reply which used to instantly indicate me whether the thread is already marked as solved or not. Now I need to check from the menu.

You can tell by the thread title whether the thread has been marked as [SOLVED] or not. If it has the [SOLVED] prefix, then it has been marked as solved, and if it does not have the prefix, then it has not been marked as solved. You only have to go to the menu to change it.

The previous thing used to give me author-like feeling in the threads started by me and marking as solved was just a toggle away. Was there any special reason for doing this? Or just saving webpage space?
