It reminds me of watching the current world record holder in the shot put, Ryan Crouser, when he is competing. I've seen several of his furthest throws land just centimeters inside the far end of the pit. They're going to have to extend those pits pretty soon, especially since he is perfecting his new variation on the throwing spin with the “Crouser Slide”... :smile:

Here's some other banned techniques for throwing or jumping in track and field. They utilize various circular methods to generate more force and got banned because they were too dangerous.
