Many of today's tech professionals were inspired by the Usborne computing books they read as children. The books included program listings for such iconic computers as the ZX Spectrum, the BBC Micro and the Commodore 64, and are still used in some computer clubs today.

While the source code is ancient, it brings back memories of a simpler time when we were crazy for our personal computers.

Really neat initiative! Although the specific programming languages are no longer relevant (outside ancient COBOL) I bet we can still learn a ton about best practices and theory.
