Use the same power rating as the original non-electric motor, if that was satisfactory.

You can probably get away with a bit less - the limit on a truck engine is getting enough torque to get it moving, electric motors have maximum torque at startup so might be a better fit to a truck

you can't compare an electric motor with a gas motor.. so i should find a 250hp electric motor??... right
