How is the job outlook for Network Engineering or Network Administration? What kinds of Maths and Sciences would you recommend to add to my studies?
Yeah I plan on doing volunteer work, as well as co-op. Hopefully I can get an on campus job too. I'm pretty devoted and have always been interested in Linux, Unix and scripting.Wax said:Not as good as it was in the 90s. You need to have some experience to get a job as a network admin. The best way to do this is to volunteer at nonprofit organizations or to just volunteer in general. You can even try to volunteer at a company. That would probably be the best route. Volunteer at a company you would like to work for and your chances of getting a job there when you graduate are good. You will have to do some convincing to get in the door but once you're in then your chances are pretty good.
