Kevin Brown Math Pages: Math Genius?

In summary, there is some discussion on PF about Kevin Brown, with some speculation that he may be an alias for Fred Olson. However, it is also possible that he is a real person who wishes to remain anonymous. Nicolas Bourbaki, on the other hand, was a pseudonym for a group of mathematicians and not an individual person. The real Bourbaki was a government official in Napoleon's time. It is uncertain when Bourbaki stopped writing books, but it is rumored that it was when they discovered Serge Lang was a single person.

There is some prior discussion on PF about Kevin Brown:

As to being Bourbaki, you have to determine if Brown is a real person. If so then he can't be Bourbaki (pseudonym for a group of mathematicians publishing anonymously using Bourbaki's name and image). Bourbaki existed in real life however he was no mathematician but instead a government official in Napoleon's time.

and the real Bourbaki:

With respect to Kevin Brown, he may be an alias for Fred Olson:

Although from other readings I found, he may want to remain anonymous and that should be respected.
