GO EAGLES I can't stand the patriots. The eagles are going to murder the patriots in 1 week.

I'll be watching the Superbowl in Pitt, with my immensely depressed cousin. He had such hopes for the Steelers, but he consoles himself that they were never really expected to do this well (after what, a 6-10 season last year ?); and that Ben's just a rookie, etc.Andromeda321 said:Go Eagles because they're from PA. Oh, and as a native Pittsburgher I have a grudge against the Pats, but that's a minor detail.
Funny thing, I was talking to my brother the day after the Steelers lost and my roommate said to me "he's going to start saying how much better they're going to be next year" right as he started to do so. If you're from Pittsburgh you know the drill by now!I'll be watching the Superbowl in Pitt, with my immensely depressed cousin. Brady is from Michigan

The_Professional said:I was going to root for the Patriots but it's in Boston which would give Red Sox fans something to cheer about and Brady is a Bush man so to hell with them!
Gza said:Actually Brady's from San Mateo, Ca. Even despite the fact he's from my place of birth, and was probably at the same niner games as me, rooting for Montana and co, I really don't like the guy much. Don't really have a reason either, kinda strange.
franznietzsche said:DO you all really have to bring politics into this? ITS A FRIGGIN FOOT BALL GAME FOR PETES SAKE!
I eamn, you don't see me boycotting movies just because the liberal socialist from hell is the lead actor (read: most people in hollywood). Well with the exception of sean penn. But i wouldn't got to any of the movies he's done so far anyway, so that doesn't make much of a difference.

(Which always begs the question, where are all the Michigeese?)

It is difficult to determine a clear favorite as both teams have talented players and have had successful seasons. It will ultimately come down to the performance on game day.
The Eagles and Patriots have faced off against each other 13 times, with the Patriots winning 7 of those games. However, their most recent match-up in Super Bowl LII resulted in an Eagles victory.
Both teams have strong defenses, with the Eagles ranking 4th in the league and the Patriots ranking 7th. It will be interesting to see how each defense holds up against the opposing team's offense.
For the Eagles, key players include quarterback Carson Wentz, tight end Zach Ertz, and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox. For the Patriots, key players include quarterback Tom Brady, tight end Rob Gronkowski, and cornerback Stephon Gilmore.
Some potential factors that could affect the outcome of the game include injuries, weather conditions, and overall team chemistry. Both teams will need to stay focused and play to their strengths in order to come out on top.
