Cause or effect in the multiverse?

In summary, the concept of cause and effect in the multiverse refers to the idea that events and actions in one universe can have a direct or indirect impact on other universes within the multiverse. This theory is often used to explain parallel universes and the interconnectedness of different realities. It suggests that our universe is just one of many, and that every choice we make and every event that occurs can have a ripple effect on the other universes within the multiverse. The cause and effect principle in the multiverse has been explored in various scientific and philosophical theories, but it remains a controversial and complex topic that continues to fascinate and challenge our understanding of the universe.

if the multiverse or many worlds theory exist how do we know that our is not just a reaction to an activity of another universe. In a multiverse who is the cause and who is the effect?

:welcome:

This forum is only for you to introduce yourself. You should post any questions in the relevant forum. That said, I'm not sure where your question fits. There are several (mostly speculative) multiverse theories, so you will need to be more specific. And, given that multiverse theories are speculative, any question that begins "how do we know" is unlikely to have an answer.
