Got these image puzzles at university and couldn't solve half of them

For 2 I guessed that it was bottom row middle image because big square and little circle were in every other image. For 4 I guessed top row middle as the numbers add up to an even number and the symbol is above the number unless the number is at the top and then the symbol is on the bottom...

Got these image puzzles at university and couldn't solve half of them

I made them individual images to hopefully make them bigger and easier to see. Not sure why my full size images are getting much smaller when I attach them or paste them into the test box.

Got these image puzzles at university and couldn't solve half of them

The image is 1677 pixels wide; is it not showing up at that size for you? I have a 1080p screen and it looks fine for me. I added an image where I doubled the width, hope it's better.

Got these image puzzles at university and couldn't solve half of them

Hey everyone, At university yesterday we were shown about 25 of these puzzles during a lecture about logical reasoning and I solved about half of them without much issue but the ones in the image have me stumped: How do I solve the 10 in the image? You have to look at the 4 on the left and...

Small, simple way to generate 500 Joules in 15 minutes

The problem with the gravity light for my case is that even a 20kg load over a height of 2m (which is already too heavy and too high) doesn't have enough energy to produce the 500J unless you 'reload' the mass. For the size, something that can fit in a box that is 15cm x 15cm x 15cm. Cost to...

Small, simple way to generate 500 Joules in 15 minutes

I'm trying to build a light (with a 5V 100mA LED) that can run for 15 minutes and can be recharged really quickly. I didn't want to use a cycle generator because I wanted the generator to be a little small.

Small, simple way to generate 500 Joules in 15 minutes

Hey everyone, I'm looking to build a simple generator that can either produce 500 Joules and then store it in a capacitor so it can be used up over 15 minutes or something that can generate the needed 500 Joules in the span of 15 minutes so you wouldn't need to store it. The thing that needs...

Calculating the mass and price of LPG needed to heat water

Thanks for the reply. There is nothing mentioned about efficiency but I did write it because a part of the question which I didn't write as I thought it wasn't that important at the time (I translated it from our local language) actually says: if you heat 5 litres of water from 20C to 90C...

Calculating the mass and price of LPG needed to heat water

Hello everyone, Homework Statement How many kilograms of lpg will you use if you heat 5 litres of water from 20C to 90C everyday for 30 days and how much will that cost if a 12.5kg cylinder is 1750 Rupees The attempt at a solution To heat 1 liter of water by 1C requires 4.18kJ so you then...

Would cryodesalination be cheaper than current methods?

Hey everyone, So I came across a company which is working on desalinating water by freezing it and was wondering what everyone here thought about it: http://cryodesalination.com/ A similar project was also being done by students of UC San Diego...

How would you solve the water abundance XPrize?

No, that + the picture of their prototype is the most amount of info that I can find about their tech.
