You do not have to be an Intermediate Math Teacher/Student to answer, but those would be most helpful, I am able to separate the different responses, so please feel free to help out if you can, it only takes 5-10 min. You would be helping in improving the teaching of mathematics!
Thanks!
Hello All,
I am doing an inquiry project that looks at how we use technology in our mathematics classrooms. I would really appreciate your help in answering a short survey for me, you can find it here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZZ2X23T
If there are any questions, please feel free to...
Do you have an answer to reference with? If no one else provides a better solution, I would just go with mine, assuming this is for marks. What are the current formulas you are working with, as I assume you would be required to show how you came to use the formula I provided if you had not yet...
I believe it is like this:
Vi=0m/s a=9.8m/s^2 d=500m Vf=?
So we use this formula:
Vf^2= Vi^2 + 2ad
Once you plug in the numbers and calculate, it should come out to 99 m/s
However, I just started learning Physics yesterday, so do not take my word for it.
Try organizing your data, see what you have and what is missing/required.
For example:
Vinitial=0 m/s t=3s d=10m a=? Vfinal=?
These formulas should help.
d= 1/2 (Vi+Vf)t
Vf= Vi + at
d=Vi(t) + 1/2 a(t^2)
G'luck!
Hello people, I just joined up and I have just started to learn Physics by myself. I had originally taken Physics in high school but even though I did not get good marks I really enjoyed the concepts. I am now 28 and have completed a Honours BA in Geography and a Masters in Education. I want to...
