Model of Light: Exploring My Imagery of Light

First I would like to say, I'm not that old and only know very basic things about physics i.e. Newtonian physics, also, I've not learned the maths for electromagnetic physics, so no need to try and explain it to me using that. I'm basically asking if you could tell me if I have a good model for...

    Quantum Collapse: Unravelling the Mechanics

When someone has a car accident an observer going to help the person inside thinks: He might be dead or alive(Wave function), when that person finally sees the driver (Measurement) one of the 2 possibility is not possible anymore (Collapse of the Wave function). Is this a good example?

    Science Humor: A Wide Selection

Girl = Time x Money And we all know time is money. Time = Money Therefore. Girl = Money x Money = Money^2 And because money is the root of all evil. Money = SQRT Evil Therefore. Girl = SQRT Evil^2 We are forced to conclude that. Girl = Evil.

Understanding the Cat in a Box Paradox

Radioactive decay, is 50% chance. I'd say that's pretty random.

Can e+e- collisions produce e+e- pairs through two-photon processes?

Well while I'm here I might ask. I read that 1 electron and 1 positron annihilate to make a gamma ray of 512 Mev, can you take a gamma rays of 512 Mev and make 1 electron and 1 positron?

Can e+e- collisions produce e+e- pairs through two-photon processes?

Hi, I don't think I understand why antimatter annihilates when it touches matter, should I picture has it as if it was a wave that canceled an other one? Or is it something else entirely? Thanks.

Infra Red Light: How Electron Movement Creates NIR

So, I always thought that NIR was created by the motion of atom at they're everyday temperature, but light is an electrons which goes from one energy state to an other, so how does just "shaking" electrons make light?

Find Velocity of Two Moving Objects: Formula for Relative Speed Calculation

Let's say car A was moving at 30m/s and car B was also at moving at 30m/s, if they looked at each other they wouldn't be moving, so their relative velocity is 0. But if a car C was moving at 60m/s both car A and B would agree it was moving at 30m/s. So the formula is quite simple: relative...

Learn Physics: 1940 Book Includes Air, Heat, Sound, Light & More

Well I know trig and algebra, is there anything else I should know in between calculus and what I know? Cause I'm guessing it can't be that hard to learn?

Learn Physics: 1940 Book Includes Air, Heat, Sound, Light & More

Hi, so I'm about to do my 3rd year in high school, and I've been trying to find a good book that could help me learn about physics, most book I found aren't helping since they only do the explanation part and no mathematics. The only book I found that helped is a book that was writing in...
