that pdf is wonderful, ehild. And thanks azizlwl- very helpful. I was having trouble reading the integrals because they looked complicated, but I think I got it now.
I've been reading that the center of mass of a right triangle - the coordinates of the COM, is (1/3b,1/3h)- I can't for the life of me figure out why this is. Is there some sort of clear proof I can take a look at?
I don't really know what to integrate..
I found their physics department page- but they only show one research opprotunity abroad during the summer... I know that there's more going on at my school. Pain
well she told me about several of the professors in the physics department doing the summer research- not just herself. But i'll try it. Wish they just had a page of all the professors who are doing research.
well I emailed one of my professors about it.. and she only told me of abroad summer research.. I just want to work with one of my professors in one of our labs in the basement.
My gpa is subpar, but improving.

I was looking at jobs involving radiation and on salary.com for a radiation therapist, the national average is over 300k... that doesn't seem accurate at all. I was thinking it'd be 80k at the most...
are there any accurate salary sites?
My physics teacher from high school is the smartest guy I know- I told him that I was going to re-learn stuff over the summer.. He said why bother? Since it was already over. The upcoming courses are going to be a lot more interesting and fun. You'll get better at it as you go.
