Obtaining the series and shunt resistance of a photodiode from the datasheet

Hello, Hello, For a project , i need to modele a photodiode with a current source in paralelle with a shunt resistance and in serie with a resistance to use it in a bigger circuit. The photodiode we will use is SFH7050, the datashhet is provideed here...

Computer science if you love math

Is it ok to work in those fields with electrical engineering master and just some courses of this field? They ask me to catch up a lot of bachelor courses if i do master in computer science, but i am afraid to not have the needed general background of comp sc for this fields

Computer science if you love math

Thanks for the anserwrs, and studying master electrical (i have to retake bachelor courses if i do comp sc master) with some courses in machine learning and signal processing and a bit security of networks, is it a good idea to work in that fields? I am afraid to miss the general comp sc background

Computer science if you love math

Hello everyone, I am currently hesitating, should i do a master in computer science or engineering? (i have currently a bachelor in elec eng which was very hard to pass because of the physics) I like computer science and like programming but i love math a lot too and even more than comp...

Electrical Engineering, power system, transmission line

Thanks for your replies of both of you, i think indeed we have to consider same magnitude so by using the formula it is just (Vs*Vs)/(500*0.4)*sin(25 degrees),

Electrical Engineering, power system, transmission line

Homework Statement A 400 kV transmission line has a length of 500 km and a reactance of 0,4 Ω/km. How much power can you transmit, if the power angle (the angle between the voltages of the beginning and the end) is limited to 25 degrees? What would then be the line’s boundary power limit for...

    Vibration membrane exercice physics

Homework Statement We have a square membrane and a circular membrane, both fixed from the edges. They are made of the same material with a surface mass σ , and their surface tension is T. We want to tune the lowest eigenfrequency (the fundamental frequency) of both membranes to the same...

    Exercise involving acoustics physics engineering

It's okay i solved it by using expansion chamber, when it attenuates a frequency f0 (at maximum attenuation) it is possible to show that it attenuates the same each odd harmonics (2n+1)*f0, so the expansion chamber is the good filter

    Exercise involving acoustics physics engineering

Homework Statement A disturbance signal propagates in a ventilation duct with cross-sectional area A=0,04m2. The fundamental frequency of the disturbance signal is 250Hz and its spectrum consists of odd harmonics only. Choose the appropriate filter options for rejecting this particular...

Good at maths but don't know if i will be good at design ?

yes but to be a mechanical engineer you need to feel yourself inventive ? i think i am the only one who aske this question isn't it ? Lot of people says good at math= considere to be an engineer (of course you need soft kill such as comunication), but for me when i see the project of engineering...

strange question isn't it ? but i feel absolutely myselft not inventive, is it still a good idea to do engineering ?
